Our responsibility and the applicability of this privacy policy

What personal data do we process?
Personal data are all data that can provide information about an identifiable natural person.
Among other things, we use and process your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, bank details, purchase history and sporadic data such as dates of marriage or birth. We need this information in order to contact you, to carry out and fulfill the agreements made with you. We may also use this information to send you informative or commercial messages relating to our company. If you visit our website, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors interact with the website. For example, we see which pages are visited, how long the website is visited and when people get off. We then use this information to improve the website. We also use permanent camera surveillance in our store(s) to prevent theft, but also to protect our customers and employees. More information about this can be found under the following heading.

What do we do with your data?
Execute agreements
We process this data in order to execute orders, repairs or other orders. We also provide this information to others when necessary for the execution of the agreement. Think of a repairer, supplier or delivery service. We require these persons to handle this data carefully and only use it for the purpose for which we make it available to them.
Camera images
To protect our property and the safety of our customers and staff, we use visible and possibly invisible security cameras. We will share these images with the police, the judiciary and third parties in the event of observed abuses, all in accordance with the law and regulations and the agreements with the Personal Data Authority.
We like to keep our customers and those who have given their consent informed and can also use the personal data for sending (electronic) newsletters.

Security of personal data
We, too, consider it important that your data is safe, which is why we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss, misuse or theft of your personal data. The data is stored, password-protected and the persons working with it are bound to secrecy(s).

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose of processing, however, this may vary from situation to situation. We use the agreed guarantee period and/or statutory retention periods as a reasonable starting point.

You have the right to inspect the personal data that we process, the right to correct these data or to remove them (or have them removed). You also have the right to request us to transfer the digital data that we process to a third party to be notified by you. If you would like to know what personal data we process about you, you can submit a written request to us for inspection.
