Heuer Montreal Automatic Chronograph

What makes this Montreal so special is the cabinet with its extra large housing of 42 mm with a combination of a sun-burst stainless steel top and polished surfaces along the side of the housing, it is still in original condition.
Like all Calibre 11/12/14/15 models, the watch uses ribbed pushers and has the crown on the left side of the case.
Note also the polished ring around the outside of the crystal – a striking contrast to the brushed steel surfaces.
This is the first of the blue dial models and is distinguished by the yellow/orange 5-minute markers on the 30-minute stop, the applied metal marks (filled with lume) and the white minute marking ring.

The watch is delivered with a full watch service.

Heuer was founded in 1860 and remained in family management until 1982, after which the company was sold to a consortium led by Piaget and Nouvelle Lemania. The new owners held on to the brand for only three years before selling it to the Middle Eastern investment house Techniques d'Avant Garde (TAG), which was renamed "TAG Heuer". The Montreal was launched in 1972. Although the name Montreal would continue to exist until 1983, in those first four years, the most interesting watches were launched, of which this watch is one.
